We don’t put very much of our personal lives on the blog but it has be a crazy 24hrs. and I just had to share with the people we love…WE ARE ENGAGED!!:)

To give you just the highlights without completely boring you we had a Family session scheduled at Kenosha Pass and the weather was not promising but Lora wanted to see the aspens SO BAD so we headed up anyway. Well we got to the pass and it started hailing!! Needless to say our session was postponed.:(But we weren’t going to let the hail dampen our after session ritual of “epic selfies!!” Unfortunately the hail was not going away…..so we headed west! We FINALLY found a place that was a little drizzle instead of a down pour at Mosquito Pass. We setup the tripod and timer….Lora thought that this was going to be just another “epic selfie” but she was wrong.:)Well…I will just stop typing and let you see the result.:)

If I am being honest, we squealed a little when this family booked us for a session in Redstone, CO. It is a little town outside of Aspen and one of my favorite places in Colorado. We shot their extended family so we will save more for later! Take a look at the insanely beautiful family in this equally beautiful setting.

Tara Lancaster - My husband and I are from Dallas and we are taking the kids skiing this year during the week after Christmas (Dec. 26-Jan. 2). Any chance you have availability for a family photo session around Snowmass during that time? Do you offer the option to purchase the digital files? If so, how much is that? Thanks in advance! – TaraReplyCancel

Turning one has never looked so cute. I am seriously missing this stage in my boys…especially now that they are in school full time, don’t need me to change their diaper, or feed them. It is funny how those things feel stressful and overwhelming at times and you think that it is never going to end, but then all of the sudden they are in 2nd grade.

Meet the H family, who are some of the kindest, most honest people I’ve met. Thank you so much for letting us photograph you at this moment in your life…and we can’t wait to watch this little guy get bigger!

I can’t pick a favorite from this session we did in Beaver Creek, CO. This beautiful family was visiting from Texas and chose to document their family in the mountains…perfect, right? We had a blast driving up the mountain and exploring the area. Get ready for an overload of images, we couldn’t help ourselves!
